Song Review:

End Of The Line

Overall Impression:

Very possibly the living king of Western Swing, Nolan Bruce Allen delivers a skilled and celebratory sound in his original tune, The End Of The Line!  Glibly walking through the emotional wasteland of a romantic departure, The End Of The Line couches a lyrical break up song inside the rapturously jazzy stylings of NBA and his talented cohorts - turning a would-be lamentation squarely on its head!

Strongest Point(s):

Great structure to the tune, moving quickly but gracefully from moment to moment. Beautiful solo work as always!  The various instrumental performances here are skillfully executed and artistically vibrant - making for a strong musical foundation for Nolan Bruce Allens warm vocals to sit pleasantly atop.  Really lovely harmonies from the ladies, and a thoroughly entertaining lyrical narrative - seriously fun music through and through!

Target Audience Appeal:

As diverse in influence as the country where it's been developed, Western Swing music borrows the best of every genre and gives it a solidly jazzy twist - making the sounds and stylings of Nolan Bruce Allen the best of the best of the best, and The End Of The Line reflects this concept well!  Effortless and effervescent, The End Of The Line stands to connect with a wide range of listeners for a wide variety of reasons - thanks so much for sending it in! - Jon W.
