Song Review:

Miss Molly

Overall Impression:

The fiddle pulls back the curtain with an easy-going melody in Nolan Bruce Allen's new tune Miss Molly. Featuring fine solos from the piano, electric, and steel guitar, the tune charms with its lyrics and impresses with its musicianship. The rhythm section holds down an incredibly solid groove, laying directly into the center of the beat. As a listener it can be easy to overlook these fine details, but Nolan Bruce Allen and his band of fine musicians consistently pays close attention to provide a seamless listening experience. Separating the solos, the lyrics describe the lovely Miss Molly with enough charm to make anyone blush. Fans of Nolan Bruce Allen, and Western Swing in general, will certainly want to spend some time listening to his new tune Miss Molly.

Strongest Point(s):

Miss Molly has a lot to offer in its short length. The musicianship from the rhythm section during the solos, and the solos themselves really push the tune forward. The lyrics are easily approachable and NBA sings with a great command and presence.

Target Audience Appeal:

Fans of Western Swing, and Country will dig Miss Molly by Nolan Bruce Allen.
